In addition, he owned “One Stop Records” which was the pillar of the community in Selma Al for over 25years. This was the stop for celebrity gospel, RB, and Blues artist. He is the Pastor of Lily Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Selma. Yvette, affectionately known, as the First Lady of Gospel Music in this area is joining the Pastor with 30 plus years of experience in the gospel music industry. Ashley Millon, affectionately known as AMillie is a native of Tuskegee Alabama. She was educated in the Tuskegee Public School System; she furthered her educational career at Alabama State University where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in the field of Communication. Ashley brings 10 plus years to FLR; she worked as the Promotions & Digital Content Director for IHeart Media in Montgomery. She has produced commercials for various businesses throughout the river region. In 2020, Ashley was featured in the Shoutout Atlanta publication for her career accomplishments. Currently, she is the host of The Sip & Sit live interview show on Instagram. She is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. AMillie will control the airwaves by way of the internet Monday through Thursday from 10am until 2 with Joy in the Mid-day on FLR.
Gospel Sounds with Michele C. Hooks-Harmon
Michele “C” Hooks Harmon is a native of Montgomery and she is a graduate of Booker T. Washington High School where she received an Arts Diploma in Broadcast Media. Michelle “C” furthered her education and enrolled at Auburn University Montgomery where she received a Bachelor’s of Arts in Communication. In 2000, her love for people and “the gift of gab” landed her a part-time position at WZHT- HOT 105.7. Also, she worked with Bluewater communication on several of their stations. She is married and the mother of four boys and one girl. Michelle C is on assignment and ready to serve. Her Montgomery family are members at Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church.
